Committed to excellence, Reel Cuisine operates with precision from a fully converted 7.5-tonne HGV wagon, accompanied by two support vehicles and a refrigerated trailer, allowing us to seamlessly cater for up to 250 covers per day, per serving.

Meet the accomplished husband and wife team, Mark and Debbie, bringing a wealth of expertise spanning over five decades. Mark, our seasoned chef with a background in fine-dining in the Lake District, holds the esteemed 2 AA Rosettes from his tenure at the award-winning Gilpin Lodge. During his time as Head Chef at the Merewood Country House Hotel, he was head-hunted by Newcastle University to set up a conference and banqueting centre in the North East, namely Close House Mansion, taking on the role of Head Chef.

After his time at Close House Mansion, Mark changed direction, becoming a freelance chef to enable him to have the freedom of travelling the country, looking to broaden his culinary experiences. His freelance work took him to many interesting parts of the UK, including the Inner and Outer Hebrides. He has extensive knowledge of location catering in the Film and TV industry having worked for Netflix (Castle for Christmas, Princess Switch 3), Amazon (The Rigg), Warner Bros (Bat Girl), BBC (Vigil, Guilt, The Nest, Clique 2, Elizabeth is Missing), ITV (Deadwater Fell) and independent production companies (The Lost King, Limbo, Sorry I Missed You, Born to Run, The Shepherd, She Will).

Debbie, a qualified Social Worker from Durham University, manages the administrative facets of Reel Cuisine with precision. From bookings to accounts, her meticulous approach ensures operational efficiency, allowing Mark to focus on his culinary craft.

Debbie qualified as a Social Worker from Durham University and worked for many years as a Family Support Officer for Newcastle City Council. She now takes care of all the administration for Reel Cuisine handling the bookings (Mark tends to double book!) and accounts.
